Grandma's Resilience Legacy

Martha Powell 1972 (San Bernardino)

In life's swift river, a grandmother stands, wisdom deep and wide,
Her face tells stories of love and loss, with every line a stride.
The currents of time may rush and swirl, with memories that blend,
Yet there she remains, a pillar of strength, on whom we all depend.

Each challenge faced, each burden borne, like water over stone,
Has smoothed her edges, shaped her soul, into the warmth we've known.
For every trial she's withstood, a gentle grace she shows,
A resilience born from love's pure light, that within her brightly glows.

She does not waver, does not shrink, against the tides of change,
For every moment she's endured, her heart remains unstrange.
A matriarch in life's flow, a beacon of the past,
The grandmother, in her quiet resolve, holds on loving and fast.

So when the river seems too fierce, and when you need a guide,
Think of the grandmother's unwavering love, and find strength at her side.
For in her journey lies the truth, that through life's push and shove,
Resilience is the legacy, of a grandmother's enduring love.
