A Mother's Resilience

In shadows deep, where light should dance,
A mother weeps, in a silent trance.
Her heart, a tempest, her mind, a storm,
Battling demons, lost and forlorn.

Though darkness looms, she fights the night,
She fights endlessly with all her might.

Learning To Cope

Through doubt and fear, I took a leap,
To seek the help I longed to keep.
But now I stride, with purpose deep,
To where the healing secrets keep.

The path was long, the journey hard,
Yet here I stand, no longer marred.
With courage bold, I...

Watching You Grow

From blocks and toys to stories shared,
In each small step, your heart prepared.
From tiny hands to daring leaps,

I’m sorry unfortunately this is very much real. I wrote this the day my daughter passed away. There was a storm raging uncontrollably outside that night, so that’s where tempest came into play. That whole day I could barely catch my breath as if a stone of a thousand pounds lay
upon my chest. So yes was a real love in the moment event and that was the only way I could cast my feelings on that fateful day.

I replied earlier but my comment doesn’t show.
