Mother Tyme

MOTHER TYME

I sat and watched for years. As she wondered through thys lyfe,

I’m sure we can only see and take in so much when on the outside looking in. Our imaginations can soar, But thys i tell you,can only be defined in my own words as" Hell's self nightmare"...

I was there at the window, watching as her mind drifted further from her grasp. I watched the children grow, and over the years I watched as the chaos divided them. I seen the constant weight of worry and endless excuses that helped demolish the mile high walls that kept their structure stable and sound..

there were countless memories misplaced, and minutes mistook for months .Fourteen years it took, as tyme tick- tocked by and simply slipped away..

Only she knows of the darkness that drove her beyond the anger and ubove the rage and left only mundane in its place. pissed off became the childrens past and patience in place of pain..

the present displeased her and then, ryte there! SHE WAS MAD!

Its only when she calls out for them, that I see she knows it's real. Its much too late, but the mother sobs anyways.. Their all four grown and all four gone now...

She is answered only by the tick-tock and reminding chime of all she wasted of
