My School Days
Arriving as a fresher not known about all.
My height was short but saw many tall.
Had an immense impish behaviour and corporal punishment for mistake
But again always the same,
As change in myself I could not make.
Day by day the condition was same.
And my impish behaviour was flourishing into fame.
Was getting grieved, craving for esteem.
But again always the same,
As change in myself I could not make.
As it's said, dark days turn into golden.
Same change came in me like summer brings autumn.
Let the summer be my flaws and autumn my improvement.
And the transition in my behavior was giving me contentment.
Though it wasn't because of motivation it was a resolution.
But still thanks to my mom and teachers for the same.
As this time I wasn't the same
As change in myself was what I made.
The transition in me wasn't a slight change.
Not just a good student, a good human I became.
The same people who used to make my fun,
Are the same who give me now respect and admiration.
I'm proud of myself that I initiated a change in me.
Each new dawn brings a blessing to me.
Whatever I am, wanna get better day by day.
May I become superior one day, is what I pray.
