The Dragon Virus
A country has
Cast a deadly virus
Upon earth
The dragon virus
Hitches a ride
Carrying its venom
From one country
To another
So many humans
Of different tongues
Have passed on
Without saying goodbye
Many others fight
For their lives...
Either in a hospital
Or at home alone...
The invisible dragon virus
surrounds us...
In places we do not know...
Hiding out ready to pounce
Perhaps in places
We have touched
Or from others
Who didn’t know...
The dragon virus
Spells of gloom and doom
Like a mushroom cloud
That once killed many
So settle a war
Now the war is invisible
The dragon doesn’t
Take prisoners, doesn’t know their names
And doesn’t discriminate....
It render them dead
Or drains them almost lifeless
In its wake.....
With faith above
Together as one
We will fight this invasion
And will march on...
With the resolve of the many
We have saved lives
And prevented others
From the clasp of the dragon
We must keep the enemy
From roaming
From country to country
City to city
Town to town
Person to person
Person to pets....
Place your bets....
The life we live
Has changed
For some who could not fight
And others that fight so bravely
Just as the sun sets today
The sun will rise tomorrow
We must protect lives
With bitter passion
Slag the dragon
Or at the very least
Keep it at bay
Or return the dragon
To its owner....
