At a Distance
Daniele R Hartzel 1976 (Delaware)
At a Distance
Look upon these eyes at a glance, and you will see an extreme romance.
A love that burns so strong and pure, a union built to make it for sure.
From a distance you will see, a desire born from intensity.
They're two souls reuniting, after a lifetime of searching and fighting.
A touch so gentle yet safe and secure, will leave you yearning for more.
Very much in love is what you see, being the proof that these two souls were meant to.
A pure love one of a kind, is the type of love to blow one's mind.
A warmth you feel straight from the heart, would lead you to believe these souls are to halves of one part.
Wishing from a distance that this would be me, I was given a chance to see.
When you find that one true love, you must thank the Lord above.
He has given a gift to treasure, a love to hold on to forever.
In you he has placed this gift, and Angel to spend my lifetime with.
About this poem
Just came to me one day while sitting at the park. I had to write it on a piece of cardboard I found. I saw a couple in the park and you could tell they were in love very a distance away. I always wanted that type of love. So I wrote about it. Hope you enjoy!
