The Voiceless Voice
Today, I AM humbled and emboldened by the spirit of God that dwells in me. I have died daily as I’ve come to the realization—that I must STAND on the shoulders of all those who’ve paved the way for me to be courageous.
I speak for The Voiceless Voice of every beaten slave—
Who spoke, but was never understood. Who traveled the Middle Passage to an unknown land. For all those who’ve been dangled as…
“Strange Fruit” upon too many sacred Trees.
I AM YOUR VOICE!
Every young black man beaten or supposedly inadvertently shot and killed.
I AM YOUR VOICE!
Those who’ve marched, stood up and sat in, to bring us closer to our pursuit of happiness.
I AM YOUR VOICE!
To George Floyd—I stand for you and the breath taken from your subdued body by pure hatred! While the World watched in horror. The sheer terror!
I AM YOUR VOICE!
To Breonna Taylor, my sweet young sister, shot to death as you rested from taking care of others.
I could’ve been your Mother!
I AM YOUR VOICE!
Too many lives have been tortured and slaughtered. But here I stand God’s daughter—coming to the stage. To turn this page with pure truth and Love! It just fits me like a glove—as I look to the dove of the Holy Spirit.
Shhh….Listen closely and you will hear it.
Hatred and bigotry, we shall not FEAR IT!
To all the innocent lives that have been taken by Evils choice—
I AM YOUR VOICE!
