Six Silent Tears

Philemon Crider 1965 (Shawnee)

Last night before I went to bed.
Thoughts of you filled my head.
I have not cried this hard in years.
Onto my pillow fell six silent tears

The 1st what's for your smile I miss.
And the taste of your lips are long to kiss.
The 2nd one was for your angel face .
And the thoughts of your warm loving embrace.
The 3rd one came as no surprise
When I thought of your beautiful blue eyes.
After the 4th one came rolling
Instead of my pillow it was you I should have been holding.
The 5th one came for one reason alone
I felt my love for you wasn't fully shown
I really miss you my dear, my love
And they're just fell the :
SIX SILENT TEARS
