Death
Sabelo Nkani 2003 (Lusikisiki)
Death
Can death be avoided?,
Sick to death,
Still not getting any chance to live,
Such a bitter life.
Siblings been taken,
Abackment from our hearts,
Heart attacks experienced,
Led to death,
Going back to the village by train,
Fallen asleep in the sit,
I saw death walking slowly into my dreams,
I woke up suddenly and went to a bunk,
But death was already beyond a bunk.
Hit the train door by force,
After the happening,
Quickly got a hitch,
In the near garage stopped to fill fuel,
Death was already beyond the garage,
In the cigarette thrown by passenger
At the back.
Driver helped with my body to hospital,
But hospital was replaced by a mortuary,
Death was near,
I can tell.
He drained my heart,
And let it dry,
No one willing to help,
That was my last breath,
Suddenly I became a corpe,
He was really being corrupt.
He have to amend to me,
In heaven walking like a saint,
He was beyond hell served fire,
In my thoughts,
He followed me,
Standing before my ways.
Now I emphasize,
Abasement not to be shown to death,
Unity to be held,
In the form of abating death,
Once and for all,
Death shall be ablazed,
