Call me by your name
Perfunctory kick
Aimed at the sand underneath
Drifting under lazy sun
I walk on a crowded beach
Horizon strikes endless pose
Children scream, parents scream
They morph into a muted yell!
Overlooking crashing waves
I gulp the lump in my neck
My soul mate, my savior,
The love of my life
Parted ways with me today!
I come to our favourite place
To relive his memories
This is the place where
He became me
And I became him
A part of each other
We will carry for
The rest of our days!
As he flies to another place
And lives another life
Without me or my presence
I want to tell that person
Something I never got to say
"
