My heart THROBBER
Every moment of quietness, flashes back the memories of old;
Like the thunder lightning unveiling my dark old path; often leaving me in agony of love.
Every peerless night re-echoes your tender voice;
That reminds me the affection we all shared.
Passion rules my thought, making me a captive of love;
But from a distance, I can see the love existing in the blues.
I wish I could turn back the years not too far.
When can I see you again dosing off in my arms and waking up in ecstasy?
Can I once more share in your joys and pains?
My heart continues to wonder, my heart robber.
But your picture exists in my mind; recalling your charming smiles and revealing your beauty.
The beauty of your inner soul will continue to radiate light to illuminate my glowing spirit.
Yet my spirit can’t say no to the fathom fantasy, every moment it reoccurs.
Come! Come and take me to where you are;
And I will remain with you forever singing songs of lullaby.
Sweet melodies that gladdens your heart, my heart;
As our souls stroll together to the streams of joy;
There we will forever knot this tie of love that will bind us together forever.
About this poem
This poem ‘MY HEART THROBBER’ is basically about an old relationship. Two lovers, a boy and a girl were found deeply in love. It happened that for reasons which not discussed here, the girl eloped to an unknown destination leaving the boy with his fate of love. Deeply in reminiscence, the character(the boy) continued to wallow in the forest of the past, recalling the affection they both shared. Full of nostalgia, he wished he could turn back the years and the good old days’ nice experiences of their love and to remain with it till the end of time. more »
