Night of the Claw Hammers
Humans!
A call to arms to disarm the callers
shot makers
bot spammers
tech droolers
and those head down wall trawlers
Tonight grab your hammers
and envision a world
free from programmers
With tool in hand spark joy
swing down archaic hackers
and build back better
by seek and destroy
Pow! Our numbers forge the hoi polloi
they’re tacks
faces flat and misalign
say goodbye to your tacky toy
ripe for the claw hammer
’bout bloody time
Look
Obsessed excess of tech begrimes
our social norms and eyes
we’re blind
think it’s all a victimless crime
sublime!
As data flies the crow spies
through shiny squares
in covert disguise
Mistake comfort for control
the goal?
dumbed down wise from binary lies
as thumbed glass refracts our souls
we’re big brother’s orphaned
anxious ghouls…
Enough of this shit!
I’m mad as seven hells
up end your goggle-box
with these tools
our life has value
not these cells
Together
Lets sound the liberty bell
and set alight the beacons
Gondor calls for aid!
show us the meaning of haste
and make the ground swell
we’ll smite these tech demons
and together ride through the valley
to crush their silly cons
We must break all parts to bits
all transistors phones and silicon
Us smiths and band of misfits
won’t quit
and don’t permit
the router’s web of fibs
they think
they’re so advanced
yet simply outwit
by the swing of our metal clawed tips
Crack screens and smash computer chips
it’s time to meet the creator
dismantle tear off ribbon strips
crunch spy accelerators
We’ll be our vindicators
the savage monkey builder
both generator and exterminator
of the heartless robot killer
Remember
We’re not made in their mirror
so pound and scrap em
sweep and bin em
HAL
make that red eye dimmer
A fix to the dog’s dinner
mess we’ve let in
go good people
remove this sin
all it would take
is just one long night
to liberate your kin
I say again
All it would take
is just one long night
to liberate your kin
