The Lasting Bond: A Birthday Sonnet for Bah Reading C War
Mawphniang Napoleon 1993 (Ri Bhoi)
My dearest Bah Reading C War for whom I've written this verse,
On this, your day of birth, I do implore
Your pardon for my tardy verse, disperse
The notion that my mind was slow to pour
Its talents forth in celebration bright
Of all that you have brought into my life.
For in your brotherhood , I have found a balm,
A solace in the storms that life may bring,
And though I am but an amateur scribe,
I've labored long and hard to make this rhyme
A worthy tribute to the bond we share,
A bond that time and distance cannot impair.
I hark back to the days of our youth,
When we roamed and rambled, full of mirth,
With books in hand and grins from ear to tooth,
Embarking on a journey through the earth.
We read of knights in shining armor bold,
Of epic quests and stories untold.
And so, my Bah Reading C War I do remember still
The tales we shared, the dreams we dared to spin,
And though we've traveled different roads and hills,
Our bond remains as strong as it has been.
So let us raise a glass and drink a toast,
To laughter, love, and all the tales we boast.
For you, my Bah Reading C War are like a brother, true,
A guide and mentor, through the years gone by,
And though you may not know it, I thank you,
For all the ways you've touched my life and sky.
So here's to you, my dear and trusted Bah Reading C War
May your life continue to soar and bend.
And as we celebrate this day of mirth,
Let us not forget the classics we've known,
The poems and the plays of greatest worth,
The tales that have inspired us to grow.
For literature, like brotherhood , never dies,
And just like you, it always shines its eyes.
And so, my Bah Reading C War I leave you with this rhyme,
A sonnet written with a heart of gold,
A testament to brotherhood , through the time,
A bond as strong as mountains, firm and bold.
So may your life be filled with joy and light,
And may this birthday bring you endless delight.
And may the laughter never cease to flow,
And may the memories of our youth glow,
And may our friendship, like a river wide,
Carry us forward, side by side.
For though we may have grown and changed, Bah Reading C War,
Our bond remains as strong as it has been,
And though the years may bring us to the end,
Our memories will live on, bright and keen.
My apologies for my mistakes,
For crossing lines and giving heartaches.
I am here to make it right,
And show you my support day and night.
Though we may be far apart,
My respect and care for you will never depart.
Just let me know what you may need,
In my limited time and space, I'll take the lead.
And even though we may be apart,
Our bond will forever remain in our hearts.
So know that you are never alone,
My support and respect you have known.
So here's to you, my dear brother ,
May your life be filled with love and light,
And may you find the happiness you seek,
And may your days be filled with joy and sight.
And may you always know, in heart and mind,
That I am here for you, until the end of time.
So once again, happy birthday, Bah Reading C War,
And may your life be full of love, until the very end.
Thank you .
