Song of Night
Gloria a “Nyx” e Gloria alla “notte"
“La cui presenza illumina i cieli”
The one who bestows life,
Upon the stars and the moon
Opens a door, to the skies
Shows the glorious Hesperus
And moons of realms afar,
Gloria a “Nyx” e Gloria alla “notte"
“La cui presenza illumina i cieli”
whose veil enfolds this realm in sleep
she from her celestial throne
along with “Morpheus” and “The Bes”
guides men in realm of dreams
her glorious cloak covers the skies
as she walks through the night
she, the guardian of mysteries
listens to the secrets untold
and grants the solace as night unfolds
Gloria a “Nyx” e Gloria alla “notte"
“La cui presenza illumina i cieli”
