The Lovely Day
The autumn glistens,
it glows around me.
I tap my foot
on the pavement
and use it as a beat to my words.
Leaves are falling,
rocking in their way.
They seem to be
sworn to serve the wind
This silence is a good chance for me
to tune in with my mind.
My thoughts are like autumn leaves,
falling atop my shoulders.
