The Greatest Love Story
To me, you were the Greatest love story ever told, in your eyes I saw the depth of the ocean and the width of all your love, the strength that I needed, I found in your arms.
I felt so alive and free to be who I am with you; You gave me such grandeur and hope. In your voice stories of our love were told a sweet resonant of love.
There could be no other that could compare with the depth of the love you gave so freely, I knew not why I was chosen to share such a wonderful experience, one that I knew I would cherish for a lifetime, nor, did I care as long as I could spend a lifetime loving you, all of you for what you had given me.
I asked myself over and over if this could be a dream. Could such pure and unselfish love come to me, what have I done to receive this gift given so freely? Yet, our love grew deeper with every passing day, my arms yearned to hold you, and my heart ached for the gentle touch only you possessed. My mind was in a whirlpool of thoughts then you came in and consumed my every moment.
Tears fell for I loved you so and yet I could not touch you. They were not tears of a broken heart as before but the tears of love truly felt so deep and so sincere. Days maybe weeks went past I could not tell for all I felt were you and in my solitude again I felt alone for it was only a dream.
