We ...particles
Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)
As i peer intensely
into the all...
being awestruck...
knowing i am damn near
blind
if not, by the infinite
potentiality
lost, as if by
chance
yet, as
i believe
a possibility
becomes
an awakening
should i venture to take a step
beyond belief
beyond knowing
of what i perceive
it is to be
never knowing,
for sure
where i have come from?
as to what this is?
or where, i am...
?
Just
living from this moment
to the next
upon this wave
where now
i ride,
rising, falling...
endless as the rhythms
on the seas...
yet, as i sense you near me
believing
that you hear my heartbeat
from within
you can sense my presence
written in these words
almost as if you feel the wind
hearing, of all a oneness
in ...all our
eternal callings
by our hearts
of souls,
we are particles...
of dimensions beyond,
drawn from within
and above...
bound,
by our relationships
and what we imagine
that we feel...
when we feel
ourselves...
in love with life
and others with us
riding upon this wave
of time-space
we're on
swept by the tide
beyond mere reason
chance or circumstance
we who have survived
even though,
we may not know it...
surrounded by some
whose prayers
surround us,
someone who dares
even without due cause
to want to go there
for us...
even when we
cast them aside
do not share...
their view
and cares more about us
than we, ourselves
can...
thus even when we
fail to recognize...
we are always
immersed ...in
love
