We were here
We stared through the sky, amidst broken dreams
We heard the agony, the dying screams of our kins
We felt the world stop, left behind without motion
We tasted the plastic, as slowly filled up the ocean
We witnessed the tears, of a childless blue whale
We greeted the ego, as he hid behind the veil
We waited the unborn, his eyes filled with rage
We cursed at the bird, banging his head on the cage
We witnessed the hate, gently whip out our skins
We laughed in the shadow, of our piling up sins
We pointed our cameras, to the ribs of a child
We filled our cages, peacefully hiked on the wild
We scavenged the earth, sucked out all of its life
We scratched each others backs, with the edge of a knife
We broke up the mirrors, just to hide our dead eyes
We kissed and we cuddled, in the light of our lies
We introduced our god, as the prettiest of all gods
We yelled at our food, as it turned black in our pots
We cut out the flowers, we wore them as hair
We burned down the forests, for polluting our air
We imprisoned the snow, in the top of a mountain
We closed out the eyes, as our lifes became daunting
We hid out the sun, behind a factory’s black cloud
We chewed up our tongs, as our cries weren’t allowed
We brought out a tear, that we used for our means
We traded our water, for some old magic beans
We plucked out the feathers, of a small mockingbird
We stuffed a baby fox, despite the cryings we heard
We shoot out the stars, as we thought of a wish
We stucked our oiled fingers, in the throat of the fish
We danced round the fire, for the days to be sunny
We killed all the bees, for not lending us honey
We injected our sugar, in the vast fields of corn
We blacked out, we decayed, as we never were born
We prided our father, towards the inevitable we neared
In the age of dying mother, we the humans, we were here…
