Echos on a turntable
repeat,
repeat,
repeat

Telling me
it’s all my fault
defying words of truth
an imbalance so indignant

Lies are tiny narcissists
convincing you
of their control
your feelings non existent
as long they own you

Fortunately for me
I own the deed
to my being
they try to plagiarize
but reality is permanent
