Broken Tongue
I speak yet cannot be heard
Time breaks my conversation between frequencies
Left are fragments of my tongue
Scattered pieces of my struggle
So is my mouth, kissed by Medusa my lips are stone
The weight of 10, 000 sins without repentance
It is wrong not to speak about my demons?
To hold back rebuttal against these bickering lost souls would be foolish
So, I scream to the shamayim while my body is chained to this earth
The bottomless pit of my diaphragm burns with conviction
Sitting in agony, I am secretly (unknowingly, privily, graciously) granting a second chance
Your eyes witness me on my knees
My brokenness displays a sign of weakness, frailty and I surrender
Behold in the eyes of my Adon, whose site was only given clarity in his judgment
He sees Redemption, Righteousness, Strength, and Forgiveness
The repentance that I was unable to speak is belted out by a damaged soul
A broken tongue can’t enslave a divine purpose
But a divine purpose can break these chains.
