Love At Its Finest

First day of school is tomorrow and I have really no idea who people are at this school. I'm new of course. After moving from a school I've been at since I was 4 it's gonna be hard finding friends, Classes and even a place to sit to eat lunch. Its gonna be a rough year for me, But theres nothing I can really do about it. When David entered the school he got a lots of weird looks from everybody, Besides one person, Yet David had not see her since everybody is just giving him the deadeye but he doesn't care.
David goes to class and absolutely nobody wants him to sit next to them, He sits next to a girl, Not just any girl, She's one of the popular girls that go to the school and she says nothing
to him except hello, David says the same. “Since its the first day of school, I expect every single one of you to talk to each other in this classroom, AND BE RESPECTFUL to them, talk to the person to you right. David and the nameless girl start talking about their summers and how they went. She tells David her name, Lexie. They have A lot in common At least David thinks, And David thinks he found some what a friend on the first day but he is not sure. Class goes on and Lexi asks for David's phone number out of the blue just in case they have to project together, And David of course gives it to her. Bell Rings and everybody walks out of there classes and David is heading to his next class, He runs into a group of people that he thinks he seen before, “You guys look really familiar for some reason.” “What for they all say” “Like ive seen you guys at a concert and our groups merged and we all became friends” “Wait, you David right?” “Yes I am” They take David under there wing and walk him around showing him the places were his classes will be and David is just having a fun time talking to people that already like him and calling him a friend. David walks into his next class late and sees Lexi again. She asks him to sit
right next to her, But her friends are very weird about it. Asking her why he has to sit here, Isn't he one of the new kids? Her friends complain and she tells him not to mind them at all and then talks about how she doesnt really like this school and glad she's a senior and will leave next year to go somewhere across the world. Lexi asks David to Hangout at the football game. David says yes but he doesn't realize that she is starting to catch feelings for him. David walks out of his class and tells his friends that Lexi asked him to hangout at the football game and after the football game. They look at him and one of them says “Dude, she might just be messing with you, Don't fall for it or her. “Why?” David says. “She did Michael over here dirty didn't she” Michael says nothing and looks at Jake weirdly. David just pushes it off and starts laughing about

it saying he wont like her but Lexi overheard him saying all of it and her smile fades away. School day ends and David walks with a group of friends to their cars. David realizes he had left something in his locker so he decides to go back into the school just to run into Lexi. Lexi brings up what he said about her and she didn't hold back on the words she used. David says nothing and tries to walk away but Lexi moves in his way , Telling him how he should say that about her after she was being nice to the new kid. David still doesn't know what she is talking about and turns around and just goes the other way. David then turns around and hugs Lexi for no reason. “Thank you for making me feel comfortable at this school, wouldn't wanna thank you any other way than this” Lexi sees that David is walking away and she is confused, Was this a Set up? Who knows, Somebody says.
