Run away
Michelle Villamin 1983 (Camiling Tarlac)
What's he's number?
Umm... I don't know?
What's the address?
Where'd you go?
Umm... I don't know?
She slaps her in the face..." If you don't know then who knows?"
Did you sneak out last night?
"No"
Then why is there footprints in the window walls?
" I don't know?"
Slaps her in the face, pulls her hair and drags her in the hallway, kicking her in her ribs, grabbing her by the arm and verbally and physically abuses her.
She asked," can I spend the night at my friend's house?" " sure." The two girls started laughing excitedly then her mom calls back.." Your having too much fun, come home."
Then the moment came to her
Because being at home didn't feel safe enough
Being told to lie about infidelity
Is like cussing you out and answering the phone angelically in a sweet voice " hello?"
Gets off the phone...and strikes with a physical bruise
A safe haven is her closet...cries and hides
Carves I hate my mom on her wooden bed frame
Nothing can save her emotional pain
She has bruises, bloody lips, pulled hair on the carpet floor
So she ran away...
Blurry street lights, heart beating rapidly, voices of her mom in her head...
She took the window screen off and hop in the window leaving mudd prints of her shoes on the window wall...
She laid in her bed and covered herself in the comforter and went to sleep and remember the conversation she had with the cop that she talked to and he said," as long as you got food in the table and a roof over your head, your lucky you got your parents."
But everyday is like deja vu
