A Vision with Clarity
A Vision with Clarity ...
So much to grieve , so little time.
Spending our years in perplexing rhyme.
To try and find the reason why,
We missed the chance to say goodbye.
We all know those who've grieved a loss,
And wonder how to be the boss ...
Of our emotions , strong and true,
And relinquish the fight to remember you.
The only way that we can speak,
is through thoughts and memories while emotions peak.
Mourning is not a “ one size fits all “,
It's through trials and valleys that we resign the fall.
Never learning from all the same things,
From confusion and sorrow , the emotions it brings.
The Blessings you left have been easy to find,
Through the eyes of your children , now left behind.
Why do I cry after all these years ?
While trying to live and slow these tears.
The dreams for your future that we both had,
To be your friend and also your Dad.
I don't stop by the place where you lay,
I've found when doing , does not brighten my day.
Pictures placed through scattered lives.
Are the unfortunate start of emotional dives.
Through all of this , we must strive on,
To keep the Faith and sing the song...
Of a future now , not on this Earth,
The remembrance of your awesome birth.
The joy I found in knowing you,
And the comfort of your children who...
Have Graced us with your memory,
Of ways that no one else can see.
Through it all , there is no doubt,
That you were special and I figured out..
That losing you has made me more,
A man of Faith and humble rapport.
Finding love , while no else one can,
Expressing joy, God's Master plan.
To live this life now to the full,
And know how precious was the Jewel...
That we discovered through your birth,
The mark you left upon this Earth.
Until , my Son , we meet again,
Look down on us and be our friend.
Knowing now , as you watch , that we show,
Just how much your Spirit flows !
