November 9
November 9, I had so much expectations,
A lot to say to you,
So much in store for you,
I knew you were coming home,
They said you were much better,
You were excited because you were going home,
Only that, we did not have the same in mind.
November 9, became a horror!
They said you were in a better place,
I did not know what the "better place" meant back then,
And when I came to see you,
November 9, became my worst nightmare,
I dread this day every year,
I was never prepared for that,
Years later, memories still fresh,
Painful and irreversible,
My sorrow grows,
Practically devastated beyond recovery,
I get mad, I get sad because I am human,
I have all the emotions,
November 9!
