Thinkin

I was thinkin bout my life,
And wonderin what it would be like,
If I had never met you that day,
Or kissed you that night,
Or even apologized after tha last fight,
That we had,
When I was at your house and we were chattin,
I guess I hit a landmine or somethin,
Cuz you stopped laughin,
I didn't mean ta say anything bad,
I didn't mean ta make you so mad or sad,
But I did,and I can't take that back,
Don't you know,that I mean,
Every word that I say,
You will always be first on my list, any day,
I hope you'll be mine,
For tha rest of my life,
And maybe just someday,
You might be my wife.
