eXit c0nflict

Soiled center of being
Asleep, unaware
Needs no care
'Cause no one cares
Left behind, eating dust
I like being broken
Just as much

The state of things
Gone well awry
You look at me
Through cold, dead eyes
Sun turns to black
And I compromise
Exit conflict
Existence dies

Spoiled perfections
And a ribbon of disgust
Left tied to a dream
That nobody wants

So out with the old
And in with the new
We've fallen face-down
Chasing after the blue

Complacency killed
What was left of you
No more trust
No more truth
