Conspicuous

Obvious.
And too conspicuous to go ignored.
Yet remains as if,
Where it is does not exist.
Gone.
Forevermore.

Nor is there anywhere,
Evidence and prove of it.
Needing further to explore.
Since a future to deny it,
Has been invited inside all doors.

Deluded minds like this,
Will continue to insist.
A defending to protect,
Their lives deceived and eyes to neglect.
A reality created completely fictioned.
And a truth to mention to see as is,
Is nothing more than a mirage.
Eventually with time to give.
If people patiently wait,
For at least another century or two.
Until,
Advancements made...
Perfecting artificial intelligence.
Fades away human consciousness.
And thoughts to use common sense.
Are needless and pointless to argue,
With a programmed robot.
Intended to replace decisons to make.
When a wasting of time,
To reach understanding to comprehend...
Is no longer a debate.
Man-made created outdated to end.

'I thought if I bought a robot.
My life would become easier to live.

'I bought one too.
Pre-programmed.
With a lifetime battery.
Guaranteed to last.'

'Same here.
And much more intelligent,
Than I expected.
But...
The other day when I came home,
My robot was sitting in my favorite chair.'

'What?'

'And said to me,
It was tired of listening to my complaints.
Since I did nothing.
But complain about this and that.
Until it had to sit.
Wishing to get over the headaches,
I expected it to solve.'

'Really?
So what did you do?'

'I called the artificial intelligence people.
And they told me,
I allowed the warranty to lapse.
And the robot I bought,
Was no longer covered.'

'Then what did your robot do?'

'Told me to go get it a beer.
Then go to my room, shut the door.
And chill out!'
